Overall Impression
Toshikazu Kawasaki has a very geometrical and precise style of folding, yet his models have a life of their own.
There are plenty of flowers here, mostly modular, and some interesting animals. 2 of Kawasaki's famous roses are re-diagrammed with very clear steps.
The book is designed as a course, with each chapter introducing a certain technique, and then going on to incorporate it in some models.
The diagrams are accompanied in some of the steps with small B&W photographs, to make the steps clearer.
Each model has 2 indicated recommended starting paper sizes - one is for practice, and one for display.
