This kit has everything you need to set up a little origami zoo. I'd would put it somewhere between pure origami and fun kids' activity, as alongside the small origami booklet you will find a large play-mat zoo map, with one side for coloring, and 95 stickers to decorate the finished designs with. While a few of the origami designs do require stickers to be recognizable, many stand on their own pretty well. My favorite is the gorilla - an instant classic.

The booklet is beautifully produced, with attractive photos and design notes for each model. The designs progress in difficulty, so the book will work well for beginners. The paper supplied is shiny and of good quality, with a different pattern on each side.
